Is this service free?Yes, Guestbooks.cc is a free service. The way we keep it free is by placing our sponsors (very unobtrusive) on the guestbooks and in the control panel in order to pay for the hosting costs. We provide an ad-free version for $10 a year; more information can be found here.
Nothing on the site is working, why?The most likely reason this is is because you do not have javascript enabled. Enable javascript in your browser settings. Other reasons may include an old browser or your computer's security settings.
Why isn't my language supported?Your language is not supported because we haven't had the time to make a translation of it or we do not know how to translate to it. If you would like to help us support your language contact us for further details and we will be happy to support it.
What is reCaptcha?reCaptcha is a 3rd party authentication tool we use to combat SPAM and robots from using our services and to protect your guestbook.

Why are email notifications only for premium accounts?Sending email is expensive and the premium fee helps cover those costs.
Why didn't my guestbook get upgraded?If you paid and your guestbook didn't get upgraded instantly please contact us here and we will be happy to upgrade it for you. This happens when our customers do not hit the continue button and report back to our website.
How do I apply a theme?Apply a theme by selecting a theme from the drop down menu called 'Theme' on the settings page.

I forgot my password, what do I do?If you have forgotten your password simply visit this page to have it reset and sent to you.
I can't login, whats wrong?You need to make sure you clicked the confirmation link in the email that was sent to you after signing up, then your account will be active and you can login to manage your guestbook.
I didn't get my confirmation email, what do I do?Click here to have it re-sent.

How hard is it to set up my guestbook?You do not need any HTML or CSS knowledge in order to setup the Guestbooks.cc guestbook. Simply create your style with our online control panel.
What browsers does this guestbook work in?The Guestbooks.cc has been tested to work successfully in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Safari. We recommend Firefox for the best performance.
